Leanna D. Poole is a proud Texas native and attorney serving individuals and families throughout San Antonio, Austin, and the surrounding communities. With a compassionate and practical approach, Leanna assists clients in making important life-planning decisions, whether preparing a will, establishing a trust, creating powers of attorney, or navigating the administration of a loved one’s estate. She believes that peace of mind begins with a well-crafted plan and is committed to making the legal process clear, personalized, and as stress-free as possible for every client.
Leanna earned her Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2021. During law school, she distinguished herself through both academic excellence and leadership. She served as a member of the Law Review, President and Senator of the Student Bar Association, a Moot Court participant, President of Thurgood Marshall House, and was selected to serve as a Graduation Marshal.
Prior to law school, Leanna graduated Cum Laude from Prairie View A&M University in 2014 with a degree in Criminal Justice, where she also served as President of the Criminal Justice Club.
Leanna is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
Her scholarship includes a publication in the Ralph Bunche Journal of Public Affairs, where her article, “When Perceptions are Deadly: Policing, Given the Summer in Ferguson, Missouri, and Other Similar Stories, Before and Since,” was published in Spring 2017.
Beyond her legal practice, Leanna remains actively involved in the legal profession and her community. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, the San Antonio Black Lawyers Association (SABLA), and the Real Estate, Probate & Trust Law Section (REPTL) of the State Bar of Texas.
