Robert Thomson practices estate planning, probate, business transactions, and family law. He is an alumnus of the University of Louisiana-Monroe and received the Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law-Houston in 2012.
During law school, Robert clerked in the legal department of a global Fortune 500 company, where he drafted the model LLC operating agreement for use across most of the company’s many wholly owned subsidiary LLCs. Additionally, during this time, he assisted with a multi-billion-dollar merger and a multi-national tax reorganization. This experience led to a lifelong interest in the development and proper management of complex business entity structures.
Robert is a retired Texas Army National Guard JAG. During his service, he completed several overseas deployments, including to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his service in Afghanistan.
Robert lives in Willis, Texas with his wife, Charlene, and their three children. He is an accomplished musician and frequently plays trumpet in local musical ensembles such as The Brass Factory, The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra, Houston Civic Jazz Orchestra, Montgomery Community Band, and the Mims Baptist Church orchestra.
